Blended training: ASPASIA self-learning course has been developed to be integrated with “in presence” classes, in order to complete and strengthen participants knowledge. Classes include lectures, simulations, practical exercises, questions & answers. Classes are conducted by professionals of the social and health domain. The course consists of 13 lessons of 4 hours each.

Validation of skills: through a dedicated web based application, developed within the Leonardo Da Vinci project “Care Talents” it is possible to validate the skills informally acquired by students in previous job or life experiences. The outcome is a certificate of validated skills in relation to those required to work as elderly caregiver and – if necessary – the definition of a tailored training course to acquire missing skills.

ASPASIA has already been tested on over 2000 elderly caregivers
